Requirements
- Currently licensed by the California Emergency Medical
Services Authority as a Paramedic
- Sierra Sacramento Valley Emergency Medical Services
accreditation
- Current CPR Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Current PALS Certification
- California driver's license with ambulance driver certificate to
Include the medical exam certificate
- Eligible to be insured under the Medical Center's Liability
Policy
with DMV Report (and minimum age 21)
- Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills, and sensitivity to the patient and family in crisis
- Must be able to work effectively with peers, other departments of first responders, and the public using good interpersonal skills, discretion, and diplomacy.
- Completes all paperwork during assigned shifts, and in
accordance with State Law and LEMSA requirements
- Maintains appropriate radio communications with Dispatch Center and other agencies, utilizing clear text at all times
- Responsible for adherence to the organization’s values and fostering relations between Butte EMS and allied agencies
- Communicates with oncoming crews regarding issues specific to the assigned station/vehicle
- Other duties as assigned

and Business Manager
