Thank you to all the EMTs who have submitted resumes. We have filled all EMT positions at the moment but will keep resumes on hand for the future.  

We are still in need of 2 F/T Medics for our 24 Hour and 1 F/T Medic for our 12 Hour as well as per diem for both. 

Requirements 

- Currently licensed by the California Emergency Medical       

   Services Authority as a Paramedic

- Sierra Sacramento Valley Emergency Medical Services 

  accreditation 

- Current CPR Certification

- Current ACLS Certification

- Current PALS Certification 

- California driver's license with ambulance driver certificate to 

  include the medical exam certificate

- Eligible to be insured under the Medical Center's Liability 

  Policy 

  with DMV Report (and minimum age 21)

- Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical 

  judgment, communication skills, and sensitivity to the patient 

  and family in crisis

- Must be able to work effectively with peers, other departments   

   of  first responders and the public using good interpersonal 

   skills, 

  discretion, and diplomacy.

- Completes all paperwork during assigned shifts, and in 

  accordance with State Law and LEMSA requirements

- Maintains appropriate radio communications with Dispatch 

  Center and other agencies, utilizing clear text at all times

- Responsible for adherence to the organization’s values and 

   Foster relations between Butte EMS and allied agencies

- Communicates with oncoming crews regarding issues specific    

   to assigned station/vehicle

- Other duties as assigned

-  This position reports to the Charge Paramedic 

   and Business Manager

Benefits

- Pay Range: $19.80 - $36.95 per hour (Based off experience) 

- Dual Paramedic Staffing on 24h

- Paramedic / EMT on 12h

- 9-1-1 Calls Only
